  • Information from connected Google and YouTube services when access has been explicitly authorised.

  • Analyse the performance of our own digital content.

  • Prepare internal reports and business recommendations.

  • Support authorised automation through Atlas, our internal AI-assisted operations platform.

We do not sell personal information or Google account data.

3. Google and YouTube API Services

Sweet Media Company operates an internal application called SMC Atlas YouTube, which uses YouTube API Services.

With permission from the relevant Google account holder, this application can access authorised YouTube channel information, video metadata, subscriber statistics, viewing metrics and channel analytics.

Our current integration requests read-only YouTube and YouTube Analytics permissions.

This access is used to monitor our channel's performance, prepare reports and support content planning.

The current integration does not upload, publish, modify or delete YouTube content.

If additional functionality or permissions are introduced, this policy will be reviewed and updated as necessary, and new authorisation will be requested where required.

Use of YouTube services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can also review the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Google authorisation tokens and relevant channel information may be stored within secured systems operated or controlled by Sweet Media Company.

We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards to help protect this information against unauthorised access, disclosure or modification.

We do not require users to provide their Google account passwords to Atlas.

5. Third-Party Services and AI Processing

We use third-party technology providers where necessary to operate our website and business systems, including Wix and Google.

Where authorised AI processing services are used for internal analysis or reporting, relevant business or channel data may be processed by those providers, subject to applicable permissions, provider agreements and Google API data-use requirements.

Access to authorised YouTube information is limited to the authorising account holder, approved personnel and authorised service providers carrying out permitted business functions.

We do not use authorised Google data for selling personal profiles or targeting third-party advertisements.

6. Cookies and Website Technology

Our website is hosted through Wix, which may use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, security and, depending on the site's configuration, analytics.

Additional cookies may be used where optional website features or third-party services are enabled.

Visitors can manage cookies through their browser settings and any consent controls available on the website.

7. Revoking Access and Requesting Data Deletion

You may revoke access granted to SMC Atlas YouTube through your Google Account third-party connections settings.

You may also contact us directly to request that authorised data held by our application be deleted or that access be discontinued.

We will action deletion requests in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services policies, including the relevant seven-day deletion requirement for direct user requests.

Deleting information stored by our application does not delete information held directly by Google or YouTube.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal and business information only for as long as necessary for authorised business purposes, legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping requirements.

YouTube API data is retained or refreshed in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services policies. We review continued authorisation and remove information when it is no longer required or authorised.

9. Your Privacy Rights

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable Australian law.

You can also raise questions or concerns about our privacy practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, website features, technology integrations or legal obligations.

The current version will be published on our website with its effective date.
